# Members and roles

> Invite team members, understand role permissions, and manage pending invitations.

## Roles

| Role   | Application access     | Team management                                  |
| ------ | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Owner  | View, send, and manage | Full control, including members and deletion     |
| Admin  | View, send, and manage | Rename the team and create or cancel invitations |
| Member | View and send          | No team or application settings changes          |

  All team members can view applications and send notifications. Only owners and admins can change an application, its provider credentials, or its tokens.

## Invite a member

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the team">Go to **Settings** → **Teams** and select the team.</Step>
  <Step title="Create an invitation">Enter the person's email address, choose **Admin** or **Member**, and send the invitation.</Step>
  <Step title="Wait for acceptance">The invitation remains pending for three days. You can cancel it before it is accepted.</Step>

The recipient can sign in or register from the invitation link, then accept or decline. Acceptance switches their current team to the invited team.
